Grip Removal

I have a Pardini K60. Enjoying learning to shoot it and it is in great shape except for the grip. It has no functional issue, but I'd like to remove and re-finish it (mental thing).

How do I remove the grip? It was not obvious to me.

Just guessing but normally, when there are no obvious grip screws, you remove the adjustable palm shelf and find that an insert will fall out of the bottom of the grip. You will then have access through the resulting hole to the grip fixing screw.

As I said, just a guess but.........................

You got it in one, son.

Sometimes the insert (small cylinder with threaded hole in the side) can get stuck because the shelf screw was tightened too far, embedding the insert into the wood. If so, a tap or two will dislodge it.
