A question about grips?

Is there a consensus as to how snug the fit should be between the hand and the heel-rest? I find that if I feel some pressure my hold is generally better, BUT the slightest twitch and I'll launch one high and right (I'm a r-h shooter). And at the end of a match my hand will be tired.

On the other hand, if I can barely feel it it my hold is not quite so good, but the strays are usually not so far away. After 60 shots my hand will still be fresh. Any thoughts?

Hi, this is maybe a little foolish, but any way...

Try to back the trigger a bit. If you tighten the grip you will not reach the trigger in the same way as before.

Do not adjust the palm shelf too tight, it is for support, if it will make traces in the hand = adjust

William,
If your hand is tired by the end of the match due to pressure from the shelf, then your grip is probably not the same from start to finish of the match.

The purpose of the adjustable shelf is to help you maintain a consistant grip. I adjust mine to provide moderate pressure, which I find allows me to grip the gun the same way every time I pick it up. Shelf position may also have to be adjusted to allow for changes in hand size from summer to winter.
