What is left for Running Target shooters?

I have a young gentleman that I coached in Running Target (RT) and he was actually getting somewhat good before they decided to dump RT as an Olympic sport... can someone tell me if this discipline is still going to be shot at other competitions (e.g., world cup, world championships, pan am games, CAT games, etc.)?

I would not expect to see it at WCs, PAG or CAT.
I think it may be in WCH, but doubt USAS will fund a team.

Visual tracking skills should transfer to shotgun.
The upper body strength should help with pistol...

Running Target is still a big international sport. I have been told the Chinese alonge have 3000 RT shooters alone. The word I have gotten from some of the people associated with USAS is that RT will be at the world cups and other events except the Olympics. However, since it is no longer an Olympic sport funding for the sport in this country will be limited.

The ISSF website does NOT list RT in world cups in 2005.
I think Munich does have a"grand prix" concurrent with the world cup there.
I expect USAS RT funding to be "limited" to $0.
