FAS 609 - ANY GOOD???

Also, I see that Champion's Choice sells them - but who services them? The reason I ask is that no one seems to know of any USA companies/people that service FAS cartridge pistols.

I just picked up the last 609 that the former U.S. importer (TGAG) had. This one (demo) had been "adjusted" in almost every way, but after making the correct adjustments is back to normal. The overall design is pretty good, as is the trigger. Quality is good to very good. Grips are Morini - with quite a bit of palm swell (most of any grip I have tried). Sights are basic, but decent. They are pretty straight-forward to work on, BUT, you are basically on your own after you buy it. Unless Champion's Choice has stocked parts through Gehman, you will find it next to impossible to get things from the factory. We have 7 of them in our club, and have come up with replacement seals and such on our own. All are working fine at this point.

Once they are set they don't seem to be problematic.
