How to calibrate an air pistol sight ?

Please help me calibrate my Gamo PR-45 (PCP) air pistol sight.

in theory it is very simple, you support the gun well and you shoot at the distance to which you want to regulate the gun, then move the sights until they coincide with the hole that leave the projectile.
The more important is to assure the gun well so it doesn't move during the shot.
