Hello

I have recently bought a used Steyr Lp1p air pistol. It is 7 years old. Are
there any parts, that could need servicing? A coleague of mine noted, that
sometimes some wear occures with the trigger mechanism. Is that really a
problem with this pistol? After how many shot does this problem occur if it
does?

Thanks for your help!

I think that the best source for servicing your Steyr Aipgun would be to talk with Scott or Warren at Pilkington (one of this web sites sponsors).

They are an authorized dealer and repair "center" for Steyr so I would say they would be your best bet.

As always, keep'em all in the 10 ring,

I have an LP1 (CO2) mfg'd in 1990. I have about 15000 pellets thru it in the last year. No service required and trigger is still superb. Although I didn't buy it thru our hosts, if I were to need servicing...they would be the ones of choice. The pistol is reliable! The accuracy superlative....a joy to shoot. Now if only the shooter could match the pistol. Bottom line: if it ain't broke....... Perhaps you might want to order some o-rings, but I doubt that even that will cause you any problems. Others may have differing opinions and mileage may vary....but quality sure has no regrets.
