1. Buy a Rika

2. On a sheet of paper, rank your shot quality from "1" (smooth, rapid release with no discernible movement disrupting natural wobble) to "5" (inconsistent feel and/or disrutpion to natural sight wobble). Or rate smoothness/consistency and sight movement on separate scales. If you are HONEST and CONSISTENT about self-evaluating your observed performance, track the average values over time . . .

After what Steve said, is actual shooting.

Dry fire works on the technique, live fire is the proof of your practicing.

Live fire is the best way to confirm success of your dry fire improvement. Dryfire will not only improve your technique but will reduce the size of your hold area. Remember that the absence of recoil and muzzle blast allows you to observe the signals that really count much more closely than when doing live fire training. Its generally less expensive than live fire provided you always remember to make sure the pistol is cleared.Good shooting Bill Horton
