i just bought a standard package hammerli trailside and am adding the sights,trigger, adjustable grips, and barrel weights to it and i want to compete in the standard pistol class...will they let me??

Possibly.
The pistol must be able to fit within a box of interior dimensions 300x150x50 millimeters.
Maximum weight is 1400 grams, including unloaded magazine.
Minimum trigger release weight is 1000 grams.
Maximum barrel length is 153 millimeters.
Maximum sight radius is 220 millimeters.
There are some other restrictions, too. Check out the Special Technical Rules for Pistol Shooting (25m Pistol) on the ISSF web-site; http://www.issf-shooting.org
