Hello,

The manual for EVO 10 recommends greasing the following:
o-ring at the compressed air cylinder
o-ring at the loading port
cocking lever

As for the o-rings, do you just apply the lube on the o-ring or do you remove it first from the thread/port, lube and put back?

And as fr the cocking lever, I assume I need to remove the grip and then what?
I'm also wondering why they recommend using a silicone grease for the cocking lever - I would assume it's metal to metal contact so a molybdenum grease would be appropriate; not that I'm going to argue with Steyr, just wondering.

Grease smeared on the surface of the O ring's is OK, plus a little on the tank threads.
These are working surfaces.
The loading lever also is a working surface, apply a little grease.
Keep the firing hammer and channel free of grease and lube.
Using the same grease makes it easy plus you do not want any type of petrolieum based grease/oil anywhere near an Air Pistol.

I don't know where you are, but the most widely recommended air gun lubricant in the US is "Super Lube", which comes in small (0.5 oz.) tubes. It's synthetic, and is good for O-rings and metal on metal applications:



Part # is 21010 for the retail version on a card.

I'm from Poland and it's widely available as far as I can see. So far I have used a silicone grease but the one you recommend looks good, too - I will give it a try for sure. Thanks for the recommendation.

I would highly advise Not to use silicone grease. It is almost as bad as sand.
The SuperLube that GWhite shows is the stuff to use. A very little dab on your cylinder threads and oring will greatly reduce effort. I also put a little on the transfer port oring and the bolt roller.
