Standing and Kneeling position questions as a sporter

Post by lalalalalala »

I am currently a sporter shooter and I have a few questions and would appreciate solutions ASAP pls because I am shooting a match very soon.
Question 1- How many breaths should I take between shots in standing to relax myself?
Question 2- How do I get my leg to stop shaking when shooting kneeling?
Question 3- What should I eat the day of competition that won't effect my shooting negatively?
Thank you.

Good questions,
1) As a beginner, you need to get accustomed to your own breathing methods, gentle slow relaxing breaths.
Do as many as 8 to 10 , maybe 12 at first start of target, as you get a few shots off, you may reduce the number as you get
into the swing of things. But IMO, as a beginner, to do no less than 8 after you get into the swing of things.
As months go by, this can be reduced to 6. Try different # for yourself, 3, 4, 5 , and see the differences,
compared to 6,7, 8, 10. It is a learning game, and every one is different, Ending with all this is simply my opinion.

2) Which leg?
3) Another good question, I shoot when I am hungry, but not too hungry, If I am hungry, I want to do it, If I have a belly full of food,
I do not want to do anything, other than go for a bicycle ride.
No sugar, eat something light , just enough to give you enough energy to compete and finish evenly energy wise, but not too much.
Timing for eating this light portion of food, is approx 1 hour before event.
