CM200ei or p85

Hi guys,
I primarily shoot Bullseye but want to get into 10m AP and Rapid Fire. Right now I’m looking for an AP for the convenience of dry firing vs pulling back the hammer on my firearms. Buy once, cry once is my thing
I was lucky to be able to dry fire most of the popular models at Camp Perry and for single shot I definitely like the CM200ei trigger
The p8x is nice but not as nice for me. The p85, on the other hand, has the 5 shot magazine I’d like to utilize for rapid fire practice.
I’ll probably end up with both over the next two years so between the two, what would you guys think is the better choice for dry firing practice?
I guess I should ask, do I need to have air in the tank to dry fire the p85? I imagine so which would make me lean to CM200ei

I asked Krale USA. Björn sent me a configurator link, Feinbauwerk website, and had me send him model code so he can submit it to FWB.

Did you try the Walther Lp500 electronic one? As for me, I am thinking to get the cm200ei or the lp500 electronic master.

Between a 1 shot and a 5 shot pistol, I would go for the single shot pistol first, as it is the one you will use the most and you can use it to train parts of the rapid fire routine (raise , movement, first shot...). It is very hard to find clubs equipped for rapid fire training.
The trigger (at least for the Steyr LP50 ) is a completely different experience. The single shots have a two stage trigger , the RFP doesn't. I like both types, but you have to adapt.

That's eye opening! I didn't consider them different
Reading the description of the p85x, I thought it would be the same exact model as the p8x but with rapid fire abilities! I didn't realize that it lacks features
Luckily for me, the P85x has an adjustable 2stage trigger, according to the manual of both, it has same angle adjustments
The p85x seem to lack the 3d grip adjustment and absorber the p8x has

The LP50 has a two stage trigger. You just can't adjust the stages individually. Also it is slightly "rolling". Incidentally I recently had the chance to hold a P85. It does appear to have a much crisper trigger. So I'm tempted.

Here is a 3 page thread on the P85. It is the only one owned by an actual consumer that I know of. He is in Norway and also owns other 5 shot pistols from Aeron, FWB and Steyr.

I have serious buyer's remorse for my CM200EI. It crapped out three weeks after I got it and I've had to send it to Switzerland twice for a warranty fix.

Several P85 are due to arrive with next FWB shipment in a few weeks time. Those are not yet listed on our site (as a final price is not set yet) and are expected to sell fast. Contact Sport Shooting Depot to reserve one.
PS - will have both 5 shot and 1 shot mags in stock for these.
PPS - also have freshly manufactured AW93 arriving really soon
