Results from the inaugural world universities shooting championships are available on the Czech shooting federation website. Pretty high standard, with at least one senior world record holder present, along with quite a number of experienced world class shooters.
Unfortunately the British team didn't do too well. We were a little surprised to see that the only US shooters there were some Clay Target shooters (from Iowa I think) - what happened to the rifle & pistol guys 'n' gals?
I did manage to meet up with fellow TT'er Grzegorz Gladyszewski, who was there supporting the Polish team, and I gather the Poles are to be the hosts of the second championship next year.

We never got word of when it was rescheduled! I didn't know it had been until last week. Guess they didn't want the competition. 8^)
