Should the armature that holds the rear sight blade to the adjusting portion of the sight be held firmly?
On my K58 the armature with rear blade can be lifted with a finger but then falls back down under its own weight.
Hopefully I explained that sufficiently.

I had that happen with my Pardini K12. In my case, it was because I had accidentally hit the rear sight and caused the spring to pop out. To fix it, I removed the rear sight and replaced it with the spring in the proper place.

PJ,
Looks like I have to remove the grip to get to the rear sight screws for removal.
Will have to contact Pilk or Pardini to get the right spring I guess.

Yeah, you need to remove the grip. I dunno about getting a new spring, though. I didn't need a new spring for mine -- I only needed to make sure that the pin was properly inserted under the spring.
