Post by siordian1 »

OK, Dig out that old SSP pistol and shoot it!

as always, shoot as many matches as you like. If not able to shoot 60, then shoot 30, just let us know.

Thanks

Shoot a match (no cheating) and post the score here. That's it!

Be prepared for insults and mocking laughter.

That's easy. I'm prepared for all of it, I'll just have to think like "Rodney Dangerfield".

OK Since this appears to be all about me, I'll kick it off.

I've been a bad boy and haven't shot or practiced in a while (moving), but there was an air pistol match this morning at my club. The debbil made me do it.

536....would have been much higher but for some "spazz boy oops."

Walther LPM1, RWS Basic pellets.

Should I post this in the "other" match?

IZH 46. Feels like crap with stock grips. Trigger is not set up the way I like it, haven't shot it for a whole 60 shots in 8 years. The results surprised me. Either there was no ego involved in the results, or equipment ( and feel) isn't as important as I think it is.

I shot a 50/50 match. 30 shots K58, 30 shots Morini. My K58 outshot the morini.

K58, 271

Morini, 265.

I get more tens with the K58.

Nyah, nyah, nyah, nyahhhhh.

You didn't listen while I was giving you severe abuse, but now you're beginning to come around. But there are many still desiring their well deserved bitch slap.

Keep up the good work!!!

I don't know about you, but I have had some matches where I had a strong start and bad finish, or vise versa. I might well have both a 96 and a 88 series in a match. It all depends on where they lie.
It would be bohemian science to assume the Pardini was a better gun than your Morini in that limited testing.
