Has anyone tried to re-sew a jacket? I’m wondering what equipment was used, etc. I’m thinking about my trying to get an off the rack coat to fit better.

I took mine to a cobbler (Shoe repair). That was to make a repair to a torn shoulder but I suppose a jacket could be modified for better fit.
