Just bought the Walther lg 400 Alutec expert version

I am confused if I made the right decisions with the model I bought the one which comes with height riser and some weights and the cylinder bought was the steel one

Are you asking if the steel cylinder was a better choice than an aluminum one?

The expert one has an aluminum cilinder over here.
