Trouble with my Steyr LP10

Post by David »

I bought a new Steyr LP10 last month, at the begining everything was OK but now I have a problem with it because I can't cock the pistol. I was handling tne screws to adjust the trigger but I need some help.
Thanks for your help.

I think you went too far with the screw that controls disengagement, try to go backwards, just follow the instructions in the handbook, they are very clear, just be patient, you have a fine pistol and after you tune it up to your likings you will not want to stop shooting.

Did you adjust the red screw inside the pistol to adjust the sear engagement? It sounds like your sear may not engage anymore. If so, then adjust this screw anticlockwise to make the sear engage again.

actually I didn't touch the red screw to adjust the sear engagement because the manual says that.
thanks for your advise.
