Hand on grip

Post by Thauglor »

Hi all,

While watching YouTube videos of air rifle competitions, some of the competitors do all the loading and stuff with their left hand while the right hand stayed on the grip. Some did not, having to regrip for each shot.

Is there an advantage to doing it either way?

I load with the left hand so I dont have a chance of dropping the rifle off the offhand stand.......
I would HATE to tell my wife its going to the shop because I dropped it.......

I load with the left, so that I can keep the butt stock relatively close to my shoulder. I've seen others do just as you've mentioned, and rebuild the position each time. I suppose it comes down to preference.
