Yes, I've discovered yet one more way to totally F--- myself, two weeks before next CMP Match in Anniston.
Messed with the grip & managed to CRUSH two of the wires in the relay for the electronic unit on a Steyr EVO-E.
(Pinched red and white wires between grip housing and the pistol itself).
WHERE DO I GET A REPLACEMENT? (Pilk Guns? Elsewhere?)
I just did the same thing. Hopefully you didn’t short the board like I did ($$$) Try replacing the wire first. Pilk has, or can get, replacement wires boards and batteries, but you can get those type of wires here too: https://www.adafruit.com/product/4210. Note that these are a little longer than the original.
Hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like a 4 wires JST connector, you need to measure the pitch though.
Finding similar cables on Ebay is easy, as long as you can wait for the shipping: https://www.ebay.com/itm/20pcs-Double-e ... 2432599273
If there is enough space, you can easily repair it (while waiting for a replacement).
If the cable is not cut and you are only concerned it may short, pull the crushed wire from the connector (there is a little tab you need to press to pull the wire from the connector) and put a heat shrink tube where it's crushed (https://www.amazon.com/Nilight-50005R-H ... B07D33MSLZ)
THANK YOU TARGET TALK! Another reason why this is a great forum.
Ordered five wires from ADA Industries in NY (.95-cents each + USPS) just to have a few back-ups on hand. Don't have the guts (or eyesight) to attempt to splice or repair wire, as advice rendered here, could possibly short the electronic board.
