Do the front and rear have to be on the same height?

When i measure my sights; my front sight has 1 5mm spacer less in height. Yesterday when i was on the range, other shooters told me its wrong. So i added 5mm on the front side and test fire the LG400, but it shoots below the card.

The rearsight Must be higher. It's basic physics. The pellet/bullet starts to drop as soon as it leaves the muzzle due to gravity. So to hit anything the muzzle has to point up slightly, this is done by the rearsight being slightly taller.

In terms of adding sight raisers normally these are the same height front and rear, because the factory have already allowed for the correct differential. The only circumstance you would add a taller riser block under one sight (or no block under the other), is to compensate for a taller/shorter foresight. This can include changing the sight radius with a tube.
