Pellet 'glitter' - graphite powder?

Post by Walnut92 »

Noticed that a tin of RWS Meisterkugeln I have seem to deposit quite a bit of 'glitter' (seen that term used elsewhere on the BB) and I'm wondering if it is graphite powder.

I've not noticed this with any other pellets I've used - even the RWS R10 Match ones. I say 'even' as I'd imagine they are broadly equivalent 'quality'. I appreciate that pellet manufacture will generate some fines but I haven't really noticed it so obviously in other tins.
