I have come accross an anschutz 1907 with a blue laminate stock. I have looked online but have not turned out much info about these rifles. I have attached a pic of the type of rifle / stock in question. I have the opportunity to purchase this unfired rifle but i was wondering if anyone had any info about the 1907 with this stock
Thanks for the help
Matt
PS ....The pic is one I found on line but it is the same as what im interested in. I know about the 1907 but this stock i have no info about and was hoping someone on the forum could pass on any info good or bad

Re: Anschutz 1907 blue stock
It's a 1907 colour laminate (bunt in German?). Anschutz made these in small quantities in the mid-late 1990s; they also made colour laminate for their other rifles too, 1913, 2013 etc. As far as I'm aware the rifle is otherwise a standard 1907, except the stock material isn't the usual honey coloured beech. The laminate may be a little heavier, but it had to meet the same 5.5Kg weight limit. Given the age the butt and cheekpiece adjust with wedges, but so did beech and walnut 1907s of that era.
