Pardin K58 Compression Cylinder removal

Hi Guys,
I am trying to re-seal a Pardini K58, I have the seals but cannot unscrew the compression cylinder from the trigger / action block.
Does anyone have any experience of how to do this, I have tried unscrewing the components but they seem to be seized.
I am assuming it is a conventional right hand thread ?
