RPA Trakker Precision Engineering
anyone know anything about RPA Trakker Precision Engineering iron sights? made in England.
Hammer to shape, file to fit, paint to match...

I think it's an update of the Swenson, itself based on (ie shameless copy) of the Wilkes. More than a few British TR (Palma) shooters use these, and the odd Smallbore shooter too.40xguy wrote:anyone know anything about RPA Trakker Precision Engineering iron sights? made in England.

Both models that I have seen were also service rifle direction - that is, turning the elevation knob clockwise raises the bullet impact. Turning the windage knob clockwise, moved the bullet impact to the right.
If you're considering buying one, it would be wise to ask the owner which direction they follow.

I remember seeing this sight mentioned in HighPower circles going back a decade or so. It was often mentioned along with the Warner, and was well thought of. I did a bit of research into the subject before buying a Warner myself, and I remember more than a few people suggesting that I look into the Trakker.
