What is your opinion on the G&E R2 rifles and how it compares to the R3 model?

From trial and error I found that a Bleiker action won't fit into a R2 without a small amount of machining at the back.

Giddaymate,

It might be quicker to ask a dealer, or even Grunig. Not many folks will have hands on experience with the current R3 and older R2 actions. I believe there are some internal tweaks.

I presume you're looking at a second hand rifle? The R2 can certainly win matches. Wasn't Pejcic using an R2 after the Granada World Championships?

Martin,

I think he means the R2 and R3 Racer actions not the RSII and RSIII aluminium stocks.
