I'm looking to buy an air rifle, and wondering how much I am going to have to pay for shipping? Can anyone tell me an average shipping price for an air rifle weighing roughly 10lbs, plus a case?

The U.S. Postal Service might be the most reasonably priced. There are no restrictions on shipping air rifles or muzzle loaders. They have raised their rates lately, however. The last rifle I sold was a smallbore match rifle. I had a friendly FFL ship it for me via USPS and the cost wasn't terribly high. I think it was $25.00 to $35.00 range. It all depends upon the distances from the shipper to receiver. Finding a decent shipping box might be a problem. You may have to get a very large piece of cardboard and fashion one.

I usually ship via UPS. The cost is usually about $35 for CONUS. Depending upon insurance, delivery dates and options (ie: adult signature, etc) , it can go up from there.

It may be helpful for you to disclose your location, and from where the air rifle is going to be shipped? What do you think?
