Looking at the Munich WC schedule: http://www.issf-sports.org/competitions ... hipid=1903, there're no mixed event. When will we start to see one?

Maybe this has something to do with it?

Hopefully never. If anyone can provide a greater example of political correctness (except the US military, which is the most PC institution on the planet) then I'd like to see it.

Bring back 300 meter, free pistol, prone, and running target. Make all events open to each sex and promote it as such: "the shooting sports; the only sports in which men and women compete on an even field." All this takes is the right narrative, promotion, and the backbone to stand up to the corrupt IOC.

Me2 but isn't mixed event already set? Is it still possible to reverse their decision?

Wait......laser guns? :-)

Seriously, include these events in the Olympics. Open the events to both sexes. So women win sometimes? Men's egos can handle it.

No offence, but you need to read up a bit about the IOC agenda. Because the IOC don't want women to win "sometimes". They want women to win exactly 50% of the time.

I was just trying to come up with some compromise to keep free pistol as an Olympic event.

Then make Free Pistol and Prone Rifle mixed team events instead of duplicating Air gun.

This is the best solution to fulfill IOC requirements but obviously that's not what IOC wants. This is just an excuse to remove all live events bit by bit.

Look at what they've done over the history and then now. Don't give them an inch!

It's heartening to see FP guys wearing black arm bands. I hope all athletes regardless of discipline should be wearing them to the next WC and so on.

That is a GREAT idea!

The IOC own the Olympics. They, and only they, decide which events are in the Olympics.

If they were to decide that after 2020 there will be no cartridge shooting, or even any shooting, in the Olympics then that is exactly what will happen.

Give them an inch, give them a whole foot, if it keeps shooting in the Olympics for another 4 years.
