At what psi level do you see accuracy drop off?

I'm still new to pcp pistols. At what bar level do you see accuracy drop off?

Most regulators will begin to get erratic below ~ 80 bar. It can vary with manufacturer, and pistol.

The cylinder gauges also aren't very accurate. Morini 162 air pistols will lock out the trigger when the pressure drops too much. Depending on which cylinder gauge I believe, that occurs on my pistol between 80 & 110 bar. I'm sure that is due to the gauges being off more than the pistol varying.

Not the most interesting video, but here's a guy demonstrating that with an LP50. Shot count is less with this pistol as it uses some pressure to advance the magazine. His (seat-of-pants) sense was that there was no significant drop in accuracy: https://youtu.be/VqIEzXvzXDM

My LP2 seems to lockout somewhere between 80-100 bar. As far as accuracy on those last few shots, I've not noticed any earthshaking difference other than getting the sense the pellet is traveling slower from the metallic impact sound and the delay. Swapping over to a full 200bar cylinder that difference is immediately apparent.

I shoot a Steyr Evo10 and I honestly don't see any significant accuracy drop until all the way down to 50-60bars.
That's on both of my supplied cylinders.

This being said, the feel is definitely different! and I prefer to exchange cylinders at around the 80-100bars mark.

OK William, in my vise testing a Morini 162(?) started spreading the group around 15-20 shots before the lock-out kicked in. Of course, that was a single sample. I haven't noticed anything in other guns, but I don't run them all the way down, but the sound becomes distinctly different so I know what's coming. A SAM M10 would suddenly drop a pellet out of the bottom, but it had a broken manometer, so I don't know the pressure level.

I'm sure this helps you not at all. I just fill my cylinders when I'm finished shooting or when my pellet shaker box is empty.
