hi,
I am currently using the Walther SSP for rapid fire practice on the range - 2-3 times a week. The trigger is a 2 stage trigger. I was looking at an air pistol so I can practice rapid fire at home - both live fire and dry-fire. Steyr LP50 compact version seems to be a good option. Does anyone know how the trigger compares between the LP50C and Walther SSP? The trigger weight seems to be approximately the same, but couldn't tell if the trigger was 2-stage.
I hope the difference is not too much to cause issues later. Please let me know if you have any inputs. LP50C is a significant investment, so want to make sure I use the money wisely :-)

Can't speak to the Walther but I have a LP50C. It has a two stage trigger that is multi adjustable in just about every way imaginable. Many use them to train for timed and rapid fire for Bullseye. It is more of a roll trigger which many Bullseye shooters favor. I have shot mine in both timed and rapid and never had a malfunction. Pull weight is adjustable with a simple spring change, providing you have the right spring(s). 5 shot dry fire magazines are also available as well as single shot. They are easily adapted for use with a red dot which many Bullseye shooters use. Steyr provides many videos, this one is for changing the 5 shot trigger spring.

I'm interested in the way you mounted the dot. I have the rail sold by Pilkguns but it is much bigger which worked fine for the larger UD Matchdot II. I also have a UD micro, that has a similar base as your Bushnell, I'd like to put on my LP50. It would be great if I could eliminate the bigger mount which would also bring the dot closer to the boreline.

I agree with Gwelo on the trigger, it's very adjustable and feels just like my bullseye guns roll triggers.
