Disclaimer:
I am posting this as a FYI and in no way trying to malign Styer or Pilkguns. I am the second owner of an a LP10E that is 10 months old.
Pilkguns sold the pistol to the first owner and I bought it from him via an ad from this site. The first owner said he shot the pistol for only three sessions, I have little reason to doubt that claim based on the grip & metal finish & condition etc.

I swapped out the factory grip two weeks after purchase, the pistol was unloaded and load lever up but I left the power switch on.

I noticed that I could make the pistol discharge by moving the battery pack/circuit board unit from the grip and moving as though I were going to change the batteries with the power switch on.

Testing further, discovered that I could invoke a discharge with the grip off and the battery pack wiring harness plugged back into the pistol with the power switch on by either gently moving the wiring harness or moving the battery pack/circuit board unit.

Pilkguns is shipping the pistol back with a new pack/circuit board unit as a warranty service item at no cost to me. They sold it to the first user and verified that fact. They told me it was the second defective pack/circuit board unit they had to replace recently. I am very happy with the service they provided, I just wanted to share this discovery as a matter of safety to other LP10E owners.

I had no clue this condition existed, upon receipt of the pistol last month the trigger was fine, I adjusted first stage travel and second stage weight to get to a total weight to 510 grams as per the manual directions. I shot about 350 rounds through it before I did the grip swap.
I discovered this condition totally by accident-albeit it was a "safe" accident.

I still have faith in the pistol, I bought it as a backup to my Morini CM 162EI. It is going to be enjoyable testing this pistol against the Morini in the upcoming year.
