Century Arms Toz 35

Post by Westporter »

Cheaper Than Dirt is currently offering "Russian surplus" Century Arms Toz 35s for $504 + shipping. I am curious about the "surplus" designation. Are these Toz 35s any different than those otherwise available? I see one on Gun Broker listed as "New" for $800. Seems a bit high?

I think they're all new old stock, in various conditions and with varying amounts of accessories. Century Arms is the wholesaler who has them and who I believe everyone is getting them from. Retail prices from dealers range from $495-585.

That is the conclusion that I more or less came to. However, I note that Larry's Guns of Maine is offering a "new" TOZ for almost $1400, albeit with Rink grips and forend, which by themselves sell for north of $400. Anyone know if TOZs are still in production?

I am pretty sure they went out of production in the mid 1990's.
