We have finished week Nine of this Year’s Vermont Winter Postal League. Whitehall, NY came in first place this week with a score of 1582, they were led by John Hollister and Jason Pratt, who both fired a 396 in 4-P. Sutter Gold CA came in second this week with a 1581, and were led by, Jrs, Darien Torrison, Nadine Ahola and Rachel Benesh who all fired a 396 in 4-P. Albion was third just three points out of first with a 1579, led by Nathan Pavolko, who fired a 397 in 4-P. New Holland PA, came in first this week in the Southern Division with a 1571, led by Ron Siliani and Frank Wasco who both fired a 394, in 4-P.

Congratulations to, junior, Clayton Hanson of Jamestown, who fired a 400 in 4-p this week. His second perfect score of this season.
After nine weeks of shooting; Sutter Gold is in first with 14236pts; Plattsburgh second with 14197; Albion is in third, with 14183pts and Whitehall is in fourth with 14159pts. In Division match ups Long Island enters week 10 with just a five point lead over New Holland for first place in the Southern Division 13958 to 13953. We saw several teams move up and down the standings this week so teams are still close. Our highest 4-P average is 396.89 belonging to Clayton Hanson of Jamestown. The highest Prone score is a 397.78 belonging to John LIska of Barrington NH. The top standing average belongs to Andre Gross, of Rochester NY, with a 392.10.

This week’s Top shooters are John Liska of Barrington NH, with a 398 in prone, Clayton Hanson with a 400, in 4 position and Andre Gross, of Rochester with a 394 in standing. Our Top Junior Shooters were Hanson, in 4-P, Andre Gross in standing and Andrew Visconti, of Plattsburgh, with a 393 prone. In All-Star Action this week the Eastern All-Stars fired a 1588 two points over the Central Division All-Stars and seven points over the Central All-Stars.
In addition to the results below you will also find a separate document that sets up your individual (group of four) bracket match for next week. Prone shooters and standings shooters pleases include the number of 10s that you fired in the first column when you record your scores for tie breaking purposes.

Next week’s results will include the results of your match 10 bracket contest. You will have two weeks to fire your scores and mail the targets in for verification for match 10. Targets must be received by Saturday April 4th. I am asking all teams to score their targets as accurately as you can, and input the match 10 scores into the web site. I will review all targets and make any changes needed. Those using electronic targets can e-mail me a screen shot of their results or e-mail a link. Mail your targets to 60 Oak Street, Champlain, New York 12919. Next week’s results will also come out in two separate e-mails, the first will pertain only to the week 10 results, just like any other week, a few days later I will e-mail out the end of season results. With final averages, team standing Season All-Stars Top Shots and MVPs. This will also give us a chance to correct any last minute mistake that might affect final standings.
