LP10 Rear Sight Removal

I need to remove the rear sight on my LP10, but wanted to check with someone who has done it before first. Looking at the expanded view in the manual it is hard to tell if the whole unit comes off in one piece. It looks like if I unscrew the "screw for sight plate", #49 in the parts list, then the whole unit should lift off. Does anyone know if this is correct? I don't want to be surprised and have tiny springs go flying all over the workroom. I would appreciate any help I could get. Thanks...JJ
