Trouble getting to center

Shooting offhand, I tend to 'ease' into the center from top down. But what I've been fighting for what seems like years, is that as I get close to centering everything up (approach from top down when everything slows down as I ease downwards) I stop just short (slight high or above center) and have a really hard time just dropping down that last tiny bit.

Do you have any tips that might help?

thanks!

If you naturally come at this point, then you don't have to "muscularly force" yourself to get the last few millimeters.

Maybe tweak down a little bit the buttplate so you can come to the target without efforts.

Try shortening the distance between your feet very slightly.
