VT Winter Postal / Nat Rifle League Week 5 Results

We have finished week Five of this Year’s Vermont Winter Postal League. Just three points separated our top 4 teams this week. Plattsburgh was on top this week with a 1579 led by junior shooter, Andrew Visconti with a 397 (4-P). Just two points behind was Whitehall NY and Sutter Gold CA who both fired a 1577, Whitehall was led by Jason Pratt with a 397 (4-P); Sutter was led by junior shooter Darian Torrison (397 in 4-P). Fourth place, just one point behind, went to Albion PA, 1576 led by junior Quin Combs and Larry Pavolko 397 in 4-P. Hudson Falls and Northfield remain in a close for third, in the eastern division, each team fired a 1511 this week and Hudson Falls has just one more point on the season. In the Western Division, the I-5’s, led by Eric Boos 387, have jumped ahead of Sutter White for third place 7581 to 7575. Sutter Blue is just two points ahead of Barrington NH for fifth place overall in the league.

After five weeks of shooting Sutter Gold is in first with 7900pts, Plattsburgh second with 7886; Albion is in third with 7874 and Whitehall is in fourth with 7858pts.

Our Division Leaders after five weeks are Sutter in the West, Albion in the Central, Plattsburgh, in the North, and Whitehall in the East and Long Island in the South.

This week’s Top shooters are John Liska, of Barrington with a 399 in prone, Clayton Hanson, of Jamestown, and Paula Lambertz, with a 398 in 4 position and Andre Gross, of Rochester, with a 393 standing. Our Top Junior Shooters were Hanson, 397 in 4-P, Gross 393 in standing and Andrew Visconti, of Plattsburgh, with a 394 prone. In All-Star Action this week the Eastern All-Stars fired a 1591 for first; just one point ahead of the Central Division All-Stars. Just one point separated the other three divisions.
