Walther CP3 Match MV - rebuild

Hello - need advice on replacing the seals on my C02 Walther. I have two cylinders, I have a schematic...but although it seems obvious, I am at a loss on how to remove the brass end piece to get at the green seals. Been very careful and gentle so as to not damage or mar the soft brass, but these on on there tight! Appreciate any tips, tricks or advice based on your experience.

Also - any source on new seals? Been looking around the US; appears to be Protek in the UK may be best source. Have read previous discussions on this (CP2 threads), but wanted to get any successful updates.

If these are like on the CPM-1, which I'm pretty sure they are, you don't disassemble the cylinder. You use a plastic tool (metal if you're very careful) to pull the old one out. Clean and lube the groove and put a new one in. It's a little tricky the first time, but just takes a minute or so with practice. I couldn't find the seals in the US, I got them from Protek.

Thank you MHS. Makes sense in looking at the design...but would not be my first guess looking at the schematic. Many thanks...I bought this CP3 new 22 years ago, Don Nygord had resealed it for me previously. It is a marvelous gun.....I like the trigger more than my Morini or FWB. Tremendous gun that I want to keep on shooting!

This is helpful; I have two non-working (non-sealing) cylinders for my CP-3 and have been wondering if/how they could be fixed. Fortunately I have two good ones that show no signs of pressure losses.
