Got my steyr lp5 back from steyr (revision and conversion co2>pcp).
Now I noticed there's room between the shroud and the housing. Nothing serious but not pretty to look at.
Is this a shroud issue? Just loosen it and put it a bit further?
Or is it a barrel adjustment issue?
I've seen the youtube LP10 barrel adjustment method, but the LP5 doesnt have the cockinglever to check/adjust

Mine has always had a small gap there.

I just shoot it.

Vibrational issues as I understood it. Mine shot well with the gap, but if the gap was closed to contact, there suddenly appeared outrageous flyers. Same thing happens with Unique 69 pistols if the barrel weight slips back to contact the recoil guide rod. At least that was my experience.

Mine never had the gap in co2 trim. I think its about a 3mm gap.
Could be cause of the cone of the shroud's muzzle break.
Is the new cone from newer models maybe slightly larger than the old co2's cone?

A 3mm gap sounds excessive. 1mm or less would be ideal.
As long as it is not touching I think you would be fine.
If not, you can always put it back as it was.

Hope this helps
