Post by OneShotMatch23 »

At the moment I own a walther LP 400 and I love it and I'm looking for a .22 match pistol that would be similar to it would this be a good one to look at or are there other pistols that I should look at too???

Why not save hundreds and just get a GSP?

Or better yet, a Pardini!

I think you'll be hard pushed to find ANY .22 semi-automatic that's similar to an LP400.

Just treat it as a different type of gun for a different match and choose the one that best suits YOU (rather than the one that best suits anyone on this board).

lp400 is a modern air pistol meaning the grip has substantial angle and adjustable in multiple directions. Also is quite light. gsp has a more vertical grip with no adjustments other than the palm self and in the old steel versions was quite heavy (gsp expert is more light). if you want something similar to LP400 you can see the walther ssp if you only want a walther. otherwise a pardini is also modern and very good .22. other modern .22 include the morini cm22, mg2
