Rebuilding MPR Precision - Need Help

Isn't there supposed to be an O Ring between the bottom of the barrel and the top of the receiver where the two meet for the air transport? Mine didn't have one when I took it apart. If so, it definitely explains why I haven't been getting as many shots as I should.
