FWB-700 problems

Post by Tom-C »

I coach a Wounded Warrior team in the Northern Virginia area. I am also the unofficial armorer for the Potomac High School Rifle League.

I got two right and Two left hand FWB 700s for our Wounded Warrior program about 4 years ago. About 6 months after I got them, one just stopped working. If you take the grip off you could see the rod into the regulator moving but no air discharge.

Champion's Choice fixed that rifle under warranty. About two months ago one the FWB 700 rifles for one of the high school shooters did the same thing, and today my other right handed rifle did the same thing.

The dry fire switch is not set.

Anyone else have this problem? any idea how to fix or prevent it?

Does it cock? Does the sear release the hammer? Does the hammer hit the valve?

It's the regulator, more specific the valve seat may need replacing.

Contact Joe Hein @ Elite Shooting Sports and he can fix. He is awesome to work with and his work is top notch. Joe is certified to repair FWB

Joe will install new seat and reset pressures and fps with chrono.

Andre,

Yes to all the above. I took the side plates off and it cocks, the sear releases and the rod goes into the regulator.

Third one to do this
