Where can I get a bolt assembly for a Hammerli SP 20?

My bolt assembly is cracked. Yes, Hammerli went out of business, and Walther now makes the SP20. I'm just wondering if the Walther and Hammerli gun parts are of same specific dimensions? Pleasae advise.

Why don't you email Walther and ask them. It might be an idea to give them the serial number of your gun.

It is a design flaw or the selection of the wrong type of metal for the bolt by the manufacturer. I have NEVER high velocity .22 rimfire ammo. I have used only standard velocity ammo...CCI SV, Eley pistol Match, SK Standard Plus. My buffers were replaced once, but otherwise functional and AOK. This will be the 4th bolt I am replacing in the same gun!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got my first bolt with the gun (naturally). Then two others from Larry's. The last one cost $250. Each bolt cracked in the same place.



I shoot the gun a lot, at least twice a week over a period of 12-15 years.

I figure I will fix the gun and then put it in the safe as a historical piece. And buy another pistol, I'm thinking of a Walther Expert.

Bugger. Pardini SP are worth a look.

GSPs are part of the old breed, but also not a bad piece.
They have a very upright grip which is a little strange.

There are no buffer/half circle o-rings on the .22 version of the Hammerli SP-20
I'd love to see just one of your 5 cracked slide pictures.
These are the finest standard pistols I have shot, I've owned & tried all but the AW93

I have had an SP20RRS since 2008. Shoot it often on the same slide.Do you have the regular SP20???

I started with .22 and .32 conversions for my SP-20. The .22 slide broke at the "ear" on the slide years ago. I still shoot the gun, but as .32 only. My dealer had a ziplock bag with at least 5 slides all broken there.
