Need info on CO2 filling from paint ball tanks

Post by continental »

I have a Walther CPM-1 and my bulk tank is long out of hydro-test. As an alternate to retest/refill my bulk tank, I am wondering if anyone has used the 20 and 24 ounce CO2 bulk tanks they sell for paint ball. It seems I would need an adapter and so am wondering if anyone has gone down this route and can advise me on the correct adapter or a source for such an item. I did speak with two retailers who sell the paintball tanks and they have no adapters nor advice. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not sure what would be required, but these folks would know if it is do-able, and would probably have the hardware:
