Grips for CZ Shadow Viper

Hi All,
After months of waiting my Shadow Viper arrived from Germany. I have only put 150 rounds through it so far but am very pleased and compared to my SVI Infinty 6 " I'm not sure which one I prefer yet!
The pistol came with the standard CZ rubber grips which are nice but I would like to experiment with another set.
I have seen the Nills ' the master ' grips and also some Hogue rubber ones with finger grooves.
At the end of the day it boils down to feel but is there a reason why for target shooting I should stick with wood? This is a pistol in 9mm for target shooting only at 25m.
