CARRERA's LP10 special extra weight.

Post by ponpon7 »

Hello there,

When watching the video of 2014 World Cup 10M pistol final in Munich, I found that Carrera has a special extra weight mounted on his LP10.

It seems like not made by Steyr or MEC (at least I couldn't find it on those websites).

Is there anyone knows the extra weight and which company make it?

Thanks in advance.

What a beauty. Although it does proof that SAM/Cesare Morini is correct in using this kind of weights. Maybe someday this sort of weight would develop to the point of utmost importance that everyone will start using long arm UK Morini 84E.

Even with the rather awkward looking weights below and in front of the trigger guard, the LP10 looks so much classier (in my eyes anyway) with the barrel shroud removed. That aluminum shroud just seems to be such an ugly thing to slide over a nice AP barrel. I'll have to try hanging some weight under the trigger guard on my Pardini K12, see if it helps at all. I installed a forward weight rod on my previous K10, and some days when I was less steady it certainly helped, but even with the 60 gram weight I found it more fatiguing than without a weight, and the 135 gram weight was very steady but also very tiring. Perhaps hanging the weight lower and closer to the hand would be less bothersome?

Hello v76,

Thanks for reply!

Is there someone who can find the specific page of this extra weight?

I've browsed all pages of the site and can't get it.....

Running the site through Google's translating service, all I can find under 'Tunings and Modifications' or 'Gadgets' is this message:
mavena-sport.com wrote:Please visit our promotions and new products
www.mavena-sport.com
Which isn't exactly helpful, as they have no link to promotions or new products. The weight system is clearly displayed on the top of every page however, at least when not running it through a translator, so at least one can see well how it is set up.
