Walther GSP EXPERT - rattles too much -

Post by gun.nutsy »

I'm new to bullseye shooting and recently purchased Walther GSP Expert with both 22 & 32 conversion.

When I shot the 32 using reloads - 1.6 grain of HP38, the mags fell off; it seemed like the loads were too hot (but this is actually a very light load); happened about 4x before I brought my loads down to 1.5 - seems okay; however now, the pistol rattles too much... one time my hand trembled and I could literally hear the rattling sound even with my ear protection on...

I haven't had the time to really check but think it has something to do with the locking mechanism???

Any help would be appreciated... before sending to GS

Check that the 2 cocking knob screws are not coming loose , as they periodically come loose.

I am using current model (blue base) magazines in my VERY old GSP and they rattle around in the magazine well something shocking, but work flawlessly.
