Pardini .32 magasine loading problem....
Sirs:
I haven't been able to load more than 3 rnds in my mags.... I've loaded my reloads to an overall length of .968... What should be the length in order to get 5 rnds in??? I've cast my own 98 grain button nose bullets and used the magtech cast bullets. should I be loading the bullet farther into the case and using a roll crimp, over the bullet edge??? I'm lost here....
Do the bullets fit in the mag, with the rim staggered, or sitting on top of each other ( like the bases flush with the back of the mag )??? Thanks for the HELP!!1 Tommy

Magazine Problem
Greetings,
The nose of the bullet may be jamming in the magazine tube.
What bullet are you casting?
Perhaps a digital photo of a loaded round?
I used to cast and load a button nose bullet (H&G #66) and seat so the front shoulder was flush to the case mouth. It functioned fine in a Haemmerli and Walther 32 wad pistol.
Cheers,
Dave

Pardini .32 magazine loading problem....
If you are talking about the 32 S&W long just bite the bullet and buy the 32 ACP conversion. This will solve all your problems "X" ring ability, no alibis, flat shooting, low recoil, etc. The only problem you might have is the 32 acp and 32 Long use the same magazine. If you have bad magazines just buy some new ones they are low cost items under $100.00. (think one great meal with your partner can buy 3 or 4 of these.)

case lenght
I would think about the .32 ACP change, however I just purchased 2000 rnds of Lapua brass, at a very good price....
attached are two photos of my cases, loaded with some second quality cast bullets... 5 empty new cases fit in the mag with no problem... They measured 0.9155/ 0.9160 on the average... ( should I cut these all down to 0.9112??)
My fired brass (I got with the gun ), is 0.9115/0.9120... the loaded rnds. are at the 0.9112 avg., I can get all 5 rnds in the mag, with a little of the dimple showing....
The back cases are my cast bullets and the front one is a 98 grn. Magtech.... Thanks for the help.... Tommy

32 S&W long
Are you bulging the cases??? What is dia. are you sizing your brass??? FC60 is a.32 s&w specialist. He has a wealth of knowledge on the subject.

magazines
I push the bullets all the way down, until they sat upside down without rolling.... I then gave them a roll crimp and had no problems loading the mags, or functioning of the pistol.... I used the hollow base Magtechs and measured no bulging of the cases..
I was reading, on other post, about using a .314 expander.... Is this for solid base bullets??? I can see were the hollow base bullets might swage down in size somewhat, and then expand as they leave the case, providing a gas seal down the barrel.... Any thoughts on this??? Or am I in left field somewhere??? Thanks Tommy
