Smallbore prone starts Saturday morning at Camp Perry. The trouble is I can not get there until that morning, so is there a way to get my packet and target assignment ahead of time? I tried calling the NRA entry number this morning but only got voicemail and they did not call back. Any advice or special numbers to call?

Not sure

I don't think you will have enough time to sign the release with CMP to get your wristband in order to get your packet. Don't think you can get your packet without the wristband, but I could be wrong.

CMP in processing (welcome center) opens at 7am.

But not sure when the NRA building opens to pick up your packet.

I live within a 2 hour drive of Camp Perry so I am going to drive up Friday morning. While there, I will try to get phone numbers, opening times, and other information. I am forced to take time off from work to do this since it is not clear what you should do if you arrive the morning of the first match.

It is hot in Ohio this week but Saturday is supposed to be cooler.

Picked up packets this morning and it was painful. I arrived at 7:45am and wanted to pick up my wife's, my son's, and my packets. My wife and son had to work today. In-processing opened just as I got there so I got the wrist bands for the 3 of us easily. Went over to the NRA building and there was a sign that said a W-9 must be filled out before giving you your packet. No exceptions. So I got mine easily but they would not give me my wife or son's packet. I asked if it could be faxed or emailed to them. No, they do not have a fax machine. I then went over to the CMP building and the headquarters office said I could have the signed forms faxed there. That took 30 minutes to get the family to print and sign the forms and fax from their workplaces to the CMP fax. Went back over to NRA and stood in line again and they took the forms and gave me the packets. The whole process took almost 2 hours.

I also had to get my wife resquadded since my son and I were on target 1 and 2 and she was on target 110. Mr Beale moved her to target 5. Right next to Viale road in the moguls.

There are a lot more people signed up for smallbore this year compared to the last 2-3 years. Mr Beale said somewhere around 387 people signed up for prone. Some people in 3P were shooting on Viale.

Champ Choice has some Eley. Black box is on sale.
