Can you swap a barreled action from a 1903 Jr into a 1903?

My daughter has outgrown her Anschutz 1903 Junior model. I am wondering if I could swap the barreled action from the Anschutz 1903 Junior into the stock of a regular Anschutz 1903? If so, I'm thinking that might be a good option until she can handle the 1907 I have waiting for her (it is too barrel heavy for her right now).

I don't have pictures but if you look at the pictures on page 30-32 of the 2006 anschutz catalog (http://www.who-sells-it.com/cy/champion ... ge-30.html) you can see both the 1903 junior version that my daughter has (bottom of page 30) and the full size 1903 (on page 30-31). On page 32 are pictures of just the barrels and the stocks. Page 85-86 has the stats of the rifles. I compared the my daughter's 1903 junior version to a full size 1903 at practice and it looks like swapping the barrels would work (they are both match 64 barrels). I am hoping someone has previously done this swap and could tell me how it went.

Honestly just put a bloop tube on it and save some money if you want the longer sight radius. They are much cheaper than a new barrel and can come in a variety of lengths so you can pick the one you want.

If I understand well, the problem is not the shorter barrel but the shorter stock of the 1903 junior that is now too short for the grown up girl.

Since you already have the 1907 and its a weight issue, what about saving the money on the 1903 stock and spending it on a stainless reduced length lilja barrel (it will need to be fitted to the 1907 by a gunsmith)? We did something similar to my sons 1907, added a ss barrel that was shorter, added an Eric U tube to get the sight distance back. Ended up dropping 2 lbs off the 1907 which made it useable plus got the 54 match.

Just a thought, seems a shame for the 1907 to sit there.

Thanks everyone for your input. Yes, Jipe is correct, the stock was the problem (Junior stock too small and no cheek adjustment). We worked with my daughter this weekend and she is now able to handle the 1907 w/1912 stock so I no longer need worry about the 1903 issue. Thank you everyone for your ideas.
