Need manual for my MG5

Post by Reinhamre »

Can anyone help me with at least a spare part list?
My rear sight has lost "something", it may have fallen out.
It is not possible to rise the sight up anymore, it stays at its lowest.

What is connected to screw 5067 and makes the sight to rise?

It appears to be a spring.

Thank you!
What part number are you thinking of?

Does 5071 have anything that goes down and rest against screw 5067?
I can not find any other part.

Looking at the diagram part number 5067 goes into a spring (part no 5066). Part 5068 is the outer most knob which can be turned by hand or flat screwdriver.

Part no 5071 has a pin part no 5060 through the pistol frame which allows the entire sight assembly to move up and down. A screw #5070 attaches the adjustable sight assembly to 5071.

And what causes the sight to move upwards?
I will take photo tomorrow.
Do you have a MG5?

Something must go down in the hole mg5b and make the scratch seen on mg5a and make the rear sight move upwards as the sliding screw is moving right/left

It appears to be a 3 mm round ball that just drops down in the hole :-( When sight is on top pos. and you accidently lift the rear sight this ball can just fall out and get lost. Best to have a few spare balls around....
