I recently bought this tube but find it hard to get the right setup. I heard that there is for each barrel type a specific point at which the balancing weight should be placed, rather than individual adjustments.

My rifle is an Anschütz 1913 with standard length barrel. Anyone experience on this?

The weights on the tube are for tuning the rifle for positive compensation.
You need to adjust the tuner so low velocity(1040fps),and higher velocity(1080fps) will hit the target at 50m in the same height.meaning, that you will have no vertical. In my experience, use the light steel weight, and leave the heavy one out. Start with the tuner close to the muzzle, and move it forward until you get positive compensation. If you need instructiones on setting the tube on the barrel with the indexing ring, don't hesitate to ask.

The tuner setting is individual for each barrel. It depends on the length of barrel, the stock, the bedding etc. you should find the spot for your own rifle.
Try to insert the tube on the barrel only 30mm from the muzzle, and not all the way down.you will have better results!
